About National Endangered Species Day
This day marks the world's conservation efforts to protect our most endangered species and overall raise our appreciation and responsibility for our wildlife.
Every year on the third Friday in May, Endangered Species Day is celebrated annually to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation and restoration efforts for all imperilled species.
Endangered Species Act 1973, focuses on the protection of wildlife and several other methods to protect it.
