About There is a Day for That!
At officeholidays.com we have been keeping people up to date with public holidays around the world since 2007. Over the years, people have asked us about other observances and the various national days that take place. At first we dismissed these observances as being too frivolous, but recently we think that they these holidays are fun and useful opportunities to highlight and recognize the importance of many issues.
As there are several websites that cover these sorts of holidays already, we wanted to bring something new to the table.
On Thereisadayforthat.com, we cover as many events as we can find - over 1,600 to date. That means uniquely we cover many international observances. We also categorise the observances, so you can explore topics and get ideas on how to mark different types of observances.
We have also created day guides that show you observances, public holidays and on this day titbits for each day for the next few years.
