World Water Day, on 22 March every year is about focusing attention on the importance of water.
World Water Day marks one of the most important days in March for the entire world as it raises awareness of freshwater shortage as a world crisis. It was recommended to be celebrated in 1992 at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janerio. And then, in 1993 the first World Water Day was celebrated.
