About International Customer Support Day
On the third Wednesday of May, International Customer Support Day (ICSD) brings companies across a range of industries together on the same day to honor the hard work and dedication of support agents.
Microsoft and its support partners (suppliers) first came together to establish ‘Support Day’ in 2019.
Thousands of agents around the world celebrated this event and have done so annually ever since.
Microsoft have learned over the years that they can make a positive impact on our support agents’ mental health by keeping them engaged with one another, making them smile, and letting them know they appreciate the vital role they play in the company's success.
Support staff keep businesses and the world moving forward. They deserve to be appreciated and recognized for their contributions. Prioritizing this celebration has had far-reaching effects on employee engagement and productivity throughout the years for agents. Participating has been shown to boost employee morale, increase motivation, foster camaraderie, and creating opportunities for collaboration, all while promoting a culture of service excellence.
From parties, team-building activities, and workshops, to recognizing team members for their contributions and achievements, there are many ways to celebrate International Customer Support Day.
