National Take Back the Lunch Break Day takes place on the third Friday in June. It's a great opportunity to take a break, connect with someone, reflect on your working life and personal ambitions, and eat some good food.

Working hard is essential for success but sometimes it's necessary to actually take those few moments to simply enjoy your break.

Take  Your Lunch Break Day reminds us all to really take advantage of those moments off work, see a friend, enjoy proper food or even go for a run.

Just one person in six manages to get a full hour's lunch break More than one worker in three (34%) eats lunch at their desks while 30% don't get further than the office canteen or kitchen.

The first official "National Take Back The Lunch Break Day" in the United States was observed in 2018.
