About Worldwide Candle Lighting Day
The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting on the second Sunday in December unites family and friends around the globe in lighting candles for one hour to honor the memories of the sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and grandchildren who left too soon.
Everyone is encouraged to light a candle at 7pm local time, creating what is believed to be the largest mass candle lighting on the globe.
If you don't have a candle, you can post one on social media, such as the image below.
