The Silver Star Families of America (SSFOA) is an organization dedicated to honoring and supporting wounded, ill and injured veterans of all branches of the armed forces of the United States of America.
Founded in 2004, the SSFOA petitioned the states to make May 1 Silver Star Service Banner Day.
