About National Yellow Pig Day
Yellow Pig Day originated in the 1960s when two math students from Princeton spent time analyzing the number 17. They went a little crazy and decided to invent the concept of a yellow pig with 17 toes and 17 teeth. Now Yellow Pig Day (July 17th) is an important part of the academic calendar and is celebrated with cake, carols, and general revelry.
