About National Cinnamon Raisin Bread Day
-1 cup all-purpose flour
-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-1/4 teaspoon baking powder
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/2 cup granulated sugar
-3 tablespoons butter, melted
-1 large egg
-1/2 cup raisins
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, butter and egg. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in raisins and vanilla extract. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
