About National Brother's Day
Observed on May 24th, this is a celebration of brotherhood for biological brothers, fraternity brothers and brothers bonded by union affiliation or lifetime experiences.
C. Daniel Rhodes from Alabama is credited with coming up with the event, as he felt that a special day apart from National Siblings Day (which takes place in April) was required to give brothers the acknowledgement they deserve.
While National Brother’s Day is mostly observed in the United States - France, Germany, Russia, and India also acknowledge the date.
