About Day of Liberation of Kyiv
The anniversary of the Day of Liberation of Kyiv from Nazi Invaders is marked in the capital. On November 6th 1943 Soviet-Czechoslovak troops took control of the city, and a bridgehead was created for further liberation of right-bank Ukraine. On this day, various festive and solemn events will take place.
