About National Chicken Wing Day
This national day that was first proclaimed by Buffalo Mayor Stan Makowski in 1977. Fitting, the home of the buffalo wing, holds the biggest chicken wing festival in the world. The world record for wing eating is held by Molly Schuyler. She was able to put away 501 wings in 30 minutes!
