A month of activities to highlight one of the most dangerous forms of cancer.

Brain tumours are indiscriminate; they can affect anyone at any age. What’s more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer... yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Brain Tumour Awareness Month was launched in 2004 by a group of charities that went on to become founding members of Brain Tumour Research.

One in three people know someone affected by this devastating disease. This March, Brain Tumour Research will once again be leading the way with a programme of activities to raise vital awareness and funds to get closer to the charity’s vision of finding a cure for all types of brain tumours.

The month culminates with the return of one of the UK’s most popular annual fundraisers – Wear A Hat Day is back on Friday March 31st. Join in, look super for science and help research breakthroughs happen.
